For over two decades the NPA has
worked to preserve the culture, community and historic assets of Noblesville.
Past NPA achievements include saving the Essington House and the surrounding
area as a result; securing a Historic District ordinance which enables
residents to join together and protect their neighborhoods; facade grants for
downtown merchants a decade ago when downtown was in need of a resurgence;
placing downtown Noblesville and several neighborhoods on the National
Register, and more than 20 years of educational programs, publications,
advocacy, and public events.
As NPA looks forward, we ask that you consider a
tax deductible donation in support of these our efforts. There are new
initiatives on the horizon and we need your continued support to put into
action the goals that will improve our community. Your participation in NPA
will keep alive the proud preservation efforts which help make Noblesville one
of the top-rated places to live.
By becoming an NPA member, you’ll be supporting the following activities, and
we hope you’ll want to become actively involved in the organization and
leadership as well:
- Build community unification and city pride
- Strengthen the fabric of neighborhoods through coordinated activities
- Provide a voice in decisions made by city, county and business groups on topics relevant to historical preservation
- Bring awareness to NPA and its mission through community events such as home and garden tours, seminars, community clean-ups, block parties, awards, educational programs and landscaping projects
- Engage the public in the heritage, economic, social, and aesthetic benefits of preservation
- Promote downtown Noblesville by working with civic groups and businesses to develop strategies for strengthening the city’s economy and vitality
- Help save endangered homes and structures
- Place qualified buildings and neighborhoods on the National Register of Historic Places
