Meet Our Board of Directors

Board Member since
1/ 2008

Krista and Rob have been Noblesville residents since 2000 and are residing in their second Old Town home, a mid to late 1800’s home on beautiful Clinton St. Rob and Krista were drawn to old town Noblesville because of the diverse old homes and the easy walking distance to schools and downtown, as well as the sense of place and community the area offers. Krista has a B.A. in Interior Design from Purdue University and owns and operates Cachet Cleaning, a natural cleaning business that serves Noblesville, Fishers, and the surrounding areas. She enjoys meeting new people through volunteer work with the Home and Garden tours and hopes her 4 children grow up loving old homes as much as she does!

Donna Parker - Vice President

When Donna returned to Indiana in 2003, she wanted to live “in-town” Noblesville. She found a 1927 Sears Catalog bungalow and knew it was the perfect home for her. She loves being able to walk and enjoy all the activities the community affords. Donna’s family says the NPA is a perfect match for her personality because she’s a sucker for a good cause and she loves old things and hunting through junk. She is also the NPA representative to Keep Noblesville Beautiful
.

Bryant, the Mayor's representative on the board, is a member of the Noblesville Planning Department staff.  Bryant has over the years attended several National Trust for Historic Preservation annual conferences and led NPA's historic guide map project. .

Dorothy Young
Board member since 3/2011
In the spring of 1987, a group of dedicated people committed to the preservation and renewal of historic sites and neighborhoods in our community formed the Noblesville Preservation Alliance ("NPA"). NPA’s mission is to promote the preservation of historic neighborhoods and resources in order to enhance the quality of life in Noblesville. The wealth of historic homes and still in-tact downtown square provide an inviting step back in time for visitors who make the trip to Noblesville. But this revitalization would not be possible without the residents who lovingly restore the grand old houses throughout numerous historic areas of the city. By opening their homes to the public, NPA hopes to inspire others to appreciate what restoration can to do add character, sense of place, uniqueness and interest to a community.

And through NPA’s earlier efforts, the Downtown Square was maintained and is now filled with interesting shops and restaurants that provide a full day of touring for any visitor. The Garden and Home Tours welcome visitors from outside Hamilton County to come into Noblesville for the day and feel as if they are the guests of residents. Restaurants and shops are encouraged to stay open later, and special events surrounding the two events invite the public to linger and enjoy the offerings of Old Town

NPA welcomes your involvement through membership, volunteering for events, or service on numerous committees or the Board of Directors. For more information, please contact us at:
